NECK FLEXION AND EXTENSION EXERCISE AND BENEFITS

HOW TO PERFORM NECK FLEXION AND EXTENSION EXERCISE?

  1. The starting position is standing upright with your arms by your sides in a relaxed posture, look straight ahead, and keep your spine in a neutral position. 
  2. Move your neck to look upwards as shown as far as is comfortable by slowly raising your chin so you are looking directly upward. 
  3. Hold for 5 seconds.
  4. Now move your neck to look downwards by letting your head drop forward without straining. 
  5. Hold this position for 5 seconds and then return to the starting position. 
  6. Perform this exercise 5-7 times.
