When to do back flexion exercises

If you feel pain relief on:

  • Sitting
  • Forward bending
  • Lumbar lordosis
  • Fixed lumbar lordosis with bending

You can do back flexion exercise when your pain increases on:

  • Walking
  • Standing
  • Sustained forward bending
  • Repeated backward bending
  • Extreme backward bending

If pain remain unchanged on STOOPING back flexion exercises can be performed.

BACK EXTENSION EXERCISES

When to do back extension exercises

If u feel pain relief on:

  • Lying
  • Walking
  • Repeated back bending
  • Decreased lumbar lordosis

Back extension exercise can be done if pain increases on:

  • Sitting
  • Driving
  • Arising from chair
  • Stooping
  • Forward bending
  • Repeated forward bending

HOW TO CHECK THE CORRECTNESS OF THE EXERCISE CHOSEN?

  • If centralization of the pain of the back occurs
  • Absence or reduction of pain.
  • Absence or reduction of discomfort.
  • If gradual improvement is noticed in 10-15 days.
