NECK ROTATION EXERCISE

  • Neck rotation exercise helps ease neck pain, maintain neck flexibility, and delay or prevent age-related stiffness. 
  • It should be easy for you to rotate your neck through 70–90 degrees on either side without straining.

HOW TO PERFORM THE NECK ROTATION EXERCISE?

  1. Keep your spine in a neutral position and look straight ahead, keeping your upper body relaxed and your arms loose by your sides. 
  2. Look over your right shoulder by moving your head slowly to the right side. 
  3. Turn it as much as it is comfortable and hold it for 5 seconds.
  4. Moving your head back through the starting position, look over your left shoulder, without straining.
  5. Return to the start position. 
  6. Repeat this movement 5-7 times.
