- SEATED HIP WALK exercise can also be used in the rehabilitation plan of hemiplegic to initiate mobility.
- People who have undergone hip surgery can also include this exercise in their treatment plan.
HOW TO DO SEATED HIP WALK EXERCISE?
- Sit down toward the front of the seat such that your thighs slope slightly downward.
- Ensure that you sit straight with your feet flat on the floor.
- Look straight ahead with your knees inline
- Take your right hip back pressing into the seat and your head turned to the left.
- Hold the position for 5-7seconds and then return to the starting position.
- Change the sides, and repeat the movement, this time press your left hip back and turn your head to the right as shown
