- ALLIGATOR exercise helps to mobilize your entire spine with a side-to-side movement and is a fantastic exercise to increase your spinal flexibility.
- It should be performed in one smooth motion from one side to the other.
- ALLIGATOR exercise benefits by improving endurance and core strength.
HOW TO DO ALLIGATOR EXERCISE?
- Get down on all your four limbs with your back flat and your neck in a relaxed position.
- Placing your arms directly under your shoulders, bend your hips and knees at right angles.
- Keep your feet together.
- Inhale deeply.
- Breathing out, and turning your head and pelvis to the left and close to each other, feel the stretch along the opposite side of your body.
- Hold for 5-7 seconds, then switch to the right side of your body.
- Complete 5 repetitions on either side initially, then relax to the starting position.
- You can increase the number of repetitions once you get adapted and comfortable.
Follow all the steps carefully, exercises give benefits only if performed correctly.
